Bishop Brandon Burdett Porter an accomplished pastor, author, singer, songwriter, and evangelist, has extensively traveled this nation sharing God’s Word with God’s people. He is a fourth generation member of the Church Of God In Christ – the son of Mother Ida M. Porter and the late Bishop W.L. Porter, who founded Greater Community Temple COGIC in Memphis; became the organizing prelate of Tennessee Central Jurisdiction in 1981; and was a former member of the church’s General Board. Bishop Brandon B. Porter is also the grandson of the late Elder George T. Flagg, who pastored in Arkansas.
His rich heritage is rivaled only by his love for and dedication to the church. For Bishop Brandon B. Porter has consistently served the Church Of God In Christ in numerous capacities, starting with his introduction to the ministry while he was still very young. He accepted his call to preach in 1976 and was ordained an elder in 1978 by Bishop J.O. Patterson, Sr., Presiding Bishop at that time. In that year, he became the assistant pastor of Greater Allen Avenue COGIC in Jackson, Tennessee. And in 1981, he was appointed pastor of Greater Victory Temple, also in Jackson. He became the district superintendent in 1986, and in 1991 his father resigned over to him the now historic Greater Community Temple COGIC in North Memphis. Under Bishop Brandon B. Porter’s leadership, the membership of Greater Community Temple COGIC has flourished to over 5,000, and the church has expanded to include an additional campus, located in East Memphis..

The word of God tells us that there were two certain men. One was rich, clothed in purple and fine linen and the other a beggar who name was Lazarus. And it came to pass that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried; an in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torment he seen Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. He cried Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. I pray thee therefore father that thou would send him to my father’s house; for I have five brethren that he may testify unto them lest they also come into this place of torment. Luke 16:19-28.

For without Christ, hell would be the final resting place for the soul. So we need to open our hearts and mind to receive the word of God. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:13-14. So, never say that no one cares for you soul...God cares, the Holy Spirit cares, the church cares, and those that are in heaven cares. Do you care? Is it well with your soul? Are you prepared to meet God? If not, you will never find a better time than right now. “Today”, if you hear his voice harden not your heart for today is the day of salvation.” II Corinthians 6. Jesus is waiting for you and he loves you. .

Bishop Gordon has extensive experience in community outreach and leading leaders. He has served as a Senior Pastor for 26 years to a congregation of 2,500+ member. Locally, he also oversees the senior pastors of twelve (12) churches. Some of his health awareness efforts include spearheading building relationships with the Lupus Foundation, the Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, AIDS Foundation of Chicago, Vitas End of Life Care, Odyssey Access for Palliative Care, Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Rush Medical Center, State of Illinois Public Health Department, City of Chicago Public Health, University of Chicago and Northwestern Universities and St. Jude’s Cancer Research Children’s Hospital as the Associate of Sunday’s Hope Promotions, Memphis, TN.

He established and chairs a non-profit agency, Total Resources CDO, which services an average of 35,000 individuals annually with food, daily resources, housing and education; and Pastors4PCOR which is charged with developing faith-based research ministries. He is an active Board Member with Prevention Partnership and Southland Ministerial Health Network; Advocate with the City of Chicago’s Faith-Based Leadership and Council Member on the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Since 2003, Bishop Gordon has served as jurisdictional Bishop for the Midwest Region Full Gospel Baptist Churches, which has included 200+ churches in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Michigan, and Canada. He has been honored by the American Cancer Society, the State of Illinois House of Representatives and General Assembly, the State of Illinois Department of Public Health, Cook County Sheriff’s Office, John Marshall Law School, City of Chicago’s Office of the Mayor, 19th Ward of the City of Chicago, the United Theological Seminary, and Crawford Broadcasting Company for his community outreach efforts..

Rev. Kerry W. Shelton has served as the Senior Pastor of True Doctrine Missionary Baptist Church for sixteen years. He is a beloved and courageous pastor, servant-leader, distinguished visionary, faithful friend and a highly sought after lecturer and preacher. Pastor Shelton graduated from Sharpstown High School in 1997, and went on to received his Bachelor’s degree in Religion Theology from the The College of Biblical Studies, Houston in May 2005.

He is passionate about proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ, making the Word of God relevant in the lives of believers, and building the Kingdom of God in the congregation and community. He is the proud parent of two sons, Kerry, Jr and Keyln and two daughter’s Kayla and Adrianna. He enjoys traveling, volunteering, reading, watching movies, and spending time with his kids. Ministry is not a single person but the entire congregation working together, in harmony and in the joy of serving God. We are all, each one of us, vital to the ministry of our church.

Elder Robbi D. Warren, International Evangelist, has devoted his life to teaching, preaching, and singing the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is a motivator of young people and many lives have been changed because of his dynamic ministry. In 1996, Elder Warren founded and organized a multi-media broadcast, which is based out of Baltimore, Maryland. Since that time, the broadcast has grown to include The Word Network and WATC TV 57 Atlanta. These broadcasts are projected to reach millions of people throughout the Continental U.S., South America, Hawaii, and Canada. He has also appeared on World Harvest Television; BET; KAZQ TV - Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Central and North Central New Mexico; and WACX TV 55 (TBN Affiliate) - Orlando, Daytona, Gainesville, Orange County, Sanford and surrounding areas. Elder Warren holds a Doctorate of Divinity from Eastern Bible Institute in New Jersey and is the author and publisher of the book Bit, But Not Poisoned. He also produced a CD entitled Scriptures and Songs for Healing. Elder Warren's passion is to win the lost at any cost and he serves as a prophetic voice to the Body of Christ, sounding the alarm of the soon coming of King Jesus Christ.
